Looking for Some Good Books to Read?

Between a new puppy and a cottage, I haven’t found much time to sit down and write this summer. However, I have been able to read. This is a picture of the view from one of my reading spots.

I am frequently asked about what personal finance or investing books I would recommend. There are literally thousands out there, and it can be overwhelming. So, I spent some time considering which ones are my favorites. I narrowed it down to about a dozen books that cover a good range of common issues related to career, investing, personal finance, and our relationship with money.

It is not exhaustive, and I am sure some people’s favorites are missing. I did that on purpose because it is easier to pick one or two when you are not drowned in options. Still, I am interested in other suggestions for my reading cue in the comments below. I have organized my reading list into a Loonie Doctor Bookshelf page.
